Our folders, menu covers, wine lists and bar menus can also be found throughout the Hotel in The Ritz Restaurant, The Rivoli Bar and The Ritz Casino.

Over the years, Marcus Wareing Restaurants has returned to Tudor Jones & Co for additional pieces that reflect their goal of creating the best possible dining experience for every guest.

In terms of leathergoods, that means using the finest genuine leathers that feel soft and pleasing to hold. The simple eponymous MARCUS logo is debossed in a copper foil that creates a classic contrast against the deep navy, soft grain leather.

The smooth edges (no gilt corners here) reflect contemporary style that is entirely compatible with the modern British mood at Marcus. Inside, the same premium leather ensures the menu takes centre stage.

We have created further wine list and bar menu covers for George’s Bar and The Gilbert Scott bar and restaurant (St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, 2011 to 2021), they even supplied the same leathers used to produce their leather sofa furnishings.

Towards the end of a transformative design, build and renovation project, the team at Chapel House Estate were feeling the effects of decision-making ‘overload’. Our sales team at Tudor Jones & Co provided the expertise and guidance the Chapel House team needed to specify a complete suite of hospitality leathergoods that would add the finishing gloss and polish to an exceptional guest experience.

We met the Chapel House Estate team in the Lounge Bar overlooking the gardens to discuss their vision of offering a contemporary wedding venue, in a tranquil and historic setting. (Chapel House was built in 1290).

With the nature and beauty of the gardens visible from every part of the Estate, we could appreciate how important it would be to present an understated luxury in the hospitality leathergoods.

Together, we developed a palette that would incorporate the traditional with the contemporary with colour and textural elements. The outer of menu boards, wine lists, bill folders, dessert menus, guest information folders, visitor books and coasters were covered with a soft textured dark green leather from our Buffalo collection. The inner surfaces featured a lichen green, nuba lining to deliver a pleasing visual and tactile impact.

To complete the collection with branded personalisation, the Chapel House logo was debossed in gold foil.

Chapel House Estate is located in Minster, Kent, just a few miles from the Tudor Jones & Co workshop in Broadstairs – enabling our team to hand deliver the final leathergoods in person and enjoy a tour of the house and gardens.
